Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes Reporter Gene Prisbrey, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Prisbrey had the misfortune mis-fortune to run a rusty spike nail in his foot last Friday while working on his father's farm. Mrs. William Gould and daughter, daugh-ter, Augusta, of Los Angeles spent last week here visiting friends and relatives. Mrs. Gladys Mitchell is confined con-fined to her bed with the mumps. Mrs. William Turnbeaugh received re-ceived word last week that her husband, Seaman William Turnbeaugh, Turn-beaugh, who had just finished his boot training will be home Wednesday Wed-nesday to spend a week with his wife, mother and children. Mrs. Annie T. Neilson is visiting visit-ing in St. George at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John T. Neilson. Mrs. Mary J u d d Allen and daughter, Vinetta, attended the funeral of Isaac Allen in St. George last week. Athole Milne returned Friday from visiting his mother, who is residing in Murray. He says that she is well and enjoys doing her own housework. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Duston and family, formerly of Las Vegas, have purchased the Eugene Cripps home. Speakers at our Sacrament meeting last Sunday were William Bennett and B. Glen Smith of St. George. Mrs. Bert Dewey suffered a heart attack Sunday but is feeling feel-ing better now. Mrs. Woodrow Staheli and Mrs. Antone Neilson left by bus Friday for Los Angeles and Santa Ana, Calif., to visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. LeFell Iverson and children of LaVerkin were visitors at the home of his mother, Mrs: E. M. Iverson on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Iverson of Las Vegas spent last week end here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs". Marion Jolley and children of Boulder City, spent last Saturday and Sunday here visiting. |
