Show LEEDS Mrs. Evelyn McMullin Reporter Glen Olsen of Ogden is here visiting visit-ing his brother, George Olsen. Charles E. Allen and Mrs. Glen Beal attended the funeral services serv-ices last Wednesday in St. George of Isaac M. Allen. Mrs. Annis Naegle and Pvt. Louis Naegel of Toquerville visited vis-ited friends here on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Parker have moved to Joseph, Utah. Their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Chansler of Los An- gtles have purchased their farm here, which is the old Grapevine Springs. Pvt. Denton Millett of Salt Lake City, visited for a few hours last Friday with his grandmother, Mrs. Rebecca Angell. He was en-route en-route back to his training camp in California. Mrs. A. A. Eastman was hostess tq 16 members of the Red Cross knitters last Thursday. Mrs. Bob Naegle and family of Toquerville spent Sunday afternoon after-noon with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Savage. Mrs. Phyllis F. Hooge has returned re-turned to Salt Lake City to make her home. The M Men and Gleaner Girl fireside chat was held Sunday evening with Karma Sullivan as hostess. Clayton Sullivan left last Thursday Thurs-day for Los Angeles on business. Karma Sullivan, Laurel McMullin McMul-lin and Cherrill McMullin played basketball in Cedar City Thursday when the Dixie college girls met the B.A.C. girls 'In a game. The score was 17 to 48 in favor of Dixie. . ,. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Daggs of Salt Lake City -were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Cald-( well last Friday. Frank Allen has returned to his home on Orderville after hav ing spent the winter here with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Allen. Speakers at Sacrament meeting were Supt. Milton E. Moody and Pres V J. Frei of Santa Clara. Accompanying them were Mrs. Moody and children, Beverly and Olsen. , . Hazel Jolley has returned to Salt Lake City to resume her employment. Mrs. Leonard Dalton of Las Vegas arrived Sunday to spend several days with her mother, Mrs. Rebecca Angell and daughter. daugh-ter. Norma. Mr and Mrs. Mark McMullin of Cedar City spent Sunday with Mr. McMullin's mother, Mrs. Caroline Car-oline McMullin. |
