Show Center and East Wards Celebrate Relief Society Anniversary The anniversary program memorializing memor-ializing the organization of women's wo-men's Relief Society will be held by the Center ward Friday, Mar. 17th, in the L. D. S. Institue building, build-ing, beginning at 4 p. m. All women of the ward with their adult daughters are cordially invited to attend this Relief Society So-ciety anniversary social, which will include a program of games, singing and stunts. Refreshments will be served. The St. George East ward Relief Re-lief Society held their memorial program Tuesday, Mar. 14th, during dur-ing the regular work meeting period. Mrs. Earl J. Bleak and Mrs. Gerald Blake were in charge of the program, with Mrs. Ein-deau Ein-deau Foremaster presiding. Numbers included congregational congrega-tional singing of "One Hundred Thousand Strong"; brass quartet, "Consolation", Prof. Earl J. Bleak, Dick Miles, Walter Snow and Bev-alere Bev-alere Cox; Scriptural reading, Miss Emily Brough; string ensemble, en-semble, "To A Wild Rose", Prof. Bleak, Dawn Andrus, Austin Gentry Gen-try and Josephine Jones; readings, Mrs. M. L. McAllister and Mrs. W. J. Reichmann; vocal trio, the Misses Carolyn, Rachel and Marie Lytle, accompanied by Mrs. Murray Mur-ray Webb; two numbers by the East ward trio with Mrs. Gerald Blake, Mrs. Wm. Baker and Mrs. Murray Webb; and talk on Relief Society history by Mrs. Walter F. Smith. Refreshments were served under the direction of Mrs. Maude Cottam. |
