Show Legion To Present Three-Act Comedy Soon One of the most important activities activ-ities of the American Legion and the Auxiliary throughout the nation na-tion this year is the raising of funds to cover their Americanism Endowment Fund, for expanding the Americanism' program. The National fund is set at fifteen million, allocated among the various vari-ous posts. However, all money must be raised within the Legion. The Lester Keate Post No. 90, has been alloted $385.00. To raise this sum the local organization is going to produce a very outstanding, out-standing, three-act comedy, "Here Comes Charley," under the direction di-rection of Roy Williams. A most excellent cast has been selected, and the director states that the play is rounding into shape nicely and is without doubt one of the finest comedies he has ever seen and will give an evening of interesting inter-esting and hilarious amusement. This play will be presented in the college auditorium, April 6 and 7. Tickets are now on sale and can be obtained from any member of the Legion or Auxiliary. |
