Show p"i'W"'m ' im nil y ' s WENDELL SNOW Y SC Wendell Snow Receives Yoeman 3C Rating Preparing for his present rating of Yoeman third class has meant a lot of close study and some pretty stiff exams, admits Wendell Wen-dell Snow, son of Mrs. Jetta Snow of St. George and husband of Helen Snow, now of Salt Lake City. This is his second promotion promo-tion since Dec. 1, 1944. Yoeman Snow entered training in Jan., 1944, and after his six weeks at Farragut was put right onto an oil tanker which has taken him hither and yon, where-ever where-ever ships of the Pacific need servicing. . . v For six years before entering the service, Mr. Snow operated a Utah Oil Station in St. George at the intersection of Main street and U. S. 91. His lease was taken over by Clifford Leach. Mrs. Snow and their son, Stephen Steph-en are making their home in Salt Lake City for the present, where she has employment. His brother, Nelson is attending a military school in Portland, Oregon and his mother and sister, Pauline, live in St. George. |
