Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neilson Reporter Mr .and Mrs. Bert Hall and family spent a few days last week in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Metta Bundy and Mrs. M. O. Funk of Salt Lake City, spent Wednesday and Thursday of last week at the home of their brother W. H. Iverson. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Webb of Las "Vegas were guests over the weekend week-end of Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Vincent. Cpl. Dewane Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Adams, is home on furlough. He has just recently arrived ar-rived from overseas, having served in Italy for many months. Ronald and Donald Vincent are home from Las Vegas where they have been employed throughout the past summer. MSgt. Robert Berneck, brother of Mrs. Bert Hall, spent the weekend week-end with the Hall family. He is stationed at Tonopah, Nevada. Mrs. Ethel Stanley and daughter daugh-ter of Reno visited here last week with relatives. Lt. and Mrs. James E. Ray returned re-turned from California where they have been for several weeks. They have gone on to Oklahoma for further assignment. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Gibson returned re-turned to Los Angeles on Tuesday Tues-day after spending a few days here with relatives. , son of Salt Lake City visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wilson. Pfc. Rex Adams and wife, Alma Whitney Adams of Oakland, California, Cali-fornia, are the proud parents of a son born on August 31 in Oakland. Oak-land. Her mother, Mrs. Fenton Whitney, is visiting with them. "Venice and Julia Whitney have returned from Oakland, California where they have had employment all summer. Julia is going to Logan where she will attend the U S A C. Venice will attend the Hurricane High school. Miss Coline Hastings has returned re-turned from Flagstaff, Arizona, where she has been visiting. Mrs. Nelson of Salt Lake City-is City-is here visiting her daughter, Mrs. Max Jepson. Mrs. Edith Humphries Beardall of Springville, Utah, who is serving serv-ing as a stake missionary, extended ex-tended to her father, John Humphries, Hum-phries, a special invitation to speak at a missionary meeting of the Springville Sixth Ward recently. re-cently. They were also guests at the Utah County Infirmary where, under the direction of Mrs. Beard-all, Beard-all, the old folks were entertained by a religious service with Mr. and Mrs. Humphries taking part. Norma Koch, who is working in the L D S church offices in Salt Lake City, spent her vacation here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Humphries. Ray B. Humphries of Salt Lake City was a recent Hurricane visitor, visi-tor, as were the Misses Jessie and Leatha Humphries of Provo and Springville.
