Show Seen and Heard 'Round the Town By EDGAR Starting with this week Mr. and Mrs. E. Norman Johnson are taking tak-ing over the management of the Washington County News. "Norm" has come o the rescue of Ye Ed-jtor Ed-jtor to give him and Hazel a chance to go to the coast for a rest. We know that they will have the full support of the rest of the News staff and the fine cooperation coopera-tion of all of our customers. I know this because twice before, this year, I have had to take time off and make a try at curing my troubles. This time we are going to take our doctor's advice and see what a surgeon can do for me ... I am sure that you will find Mr. and Mrs. Johnson are fine people to deal with and that they and the rest of the News staff will do their best to give you a fine paper and prompt, efficient service in the Job Work department. depart-ment. They were sent by their son, Sgt.' McArthur, who happened to have some influence in the proper place to get the pictures so promptly . . . The St. George C. of C. received a message mes-sage this week that the Boulder Dam area is now open to the general gen-eral public . . . Those wishing to study music will have an opportunity oppor-tunity at the Dixie College under the direction of J. W. McAllister. Joe officially quit last year, but he has been at the work for so long that he just can't quit more power to you Joe! |
