The mother is the former Marian Holt of Enterprise. Mrs Foster spent last Saturday in -edar City making the acquaintance acquaint-ance of the new baby, which is their first grandchild. Releases from the hospital during dur-ing the past week include: Mrs Cecil Dean Chandler and baby boy; Mrs. H. Val Hafen and baby boy; Mrs. Junior LeRoy Walker and son; Mrs. Warren G. Hirschi and baby boy; Mrs. Paul Henderson Hender-son and baby boy; Mrs. Don Carlos Schmutz and baby boy-Mrs. boy-Mrs. Ted Twitchell and baby giri: and Mrs. William Getts. Mrs. Susie Dodge and Miss Marjory Lowe of Castle Cliff station sta-tion were visiting and shopping in St. George Tuesday and Wednesday. Wed-nesday. W Mr. and Mrs. Paul Burt and five children arrived Saturday from Topaz, Utah, where they have spent the summer, and are spending the 'week with Mrs. Burt's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Seegmiller Jr., enroute home, to the Coast. On Saturday 27 family members met at the Seegmiller home for a social, honoring hon-oring the visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Snow arrived ar-rived last week from the Coast to spend the winter in St George. ; Visiting relatives and shopping in St. George Wednesday were Donald Stephens, of Midvalley, Utah, his brother. Grant 'Stephens, cousin, Murren Lamb, of Cedar City, and his sister, Mrs. LaVell Sylvester and smalj son, De-Wayne De-Wayne of Pintura. Mr. Stephens is an apprentice seaman stationed at Camp Farragut, Ida., and a nephew of Parley Lang, of this city. He says he hopes to be in real service before long. The Bridge Ettes were entertained enter-tained last Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Grant Whitehead. High score honors went to Mrs. Willard Milne and Mrs. Bud Seegmiller. Seeg-miller. Mrs. Rebecca Russell returned to her home in Hurricane Saturday, Satur-day, after spending a month in St. George with her daughter, Mrs. Lindau Foremaster, visiting and receiving medical care. Mrs. Edgar R. Simpson was pleasantly surprised by a group of her friends on her birthday anniversary an-niversary Saturday evening. Following Fol-lowing a pot-luck supper, pinochle was played, with honors going to Mr. and Mrs. Arnold MeArthur and Dr. and Mrs. W. J. Reich-:mann. Reich-:mann. Mrs. Bud Kunz of Las Vegas spent Wednesday and Thursday visiting with her mother, Mrs. Nettie K. Morris. Mrs. Rosena Blake spent Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday in Kanarra with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davis. Mrs. Leland Hafen is spending the week in California. Dr. and Mrs. P. E. Harris and daughter, Patsy, returned last Thursday from Overton, where they had been since Monday, visiting vis-iting their children, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne G. Robertson and small son, and transacting business. The Robertsons were their guests over the preivous week end. Stafford Snow left Wednesday for Salt Lake City where he has employment for the winter. Miss Georgina Anderson returned re-turned Tuesday from Alton, Utah, where she has been visiting her sister for ten days. E. D. Seegmiller, Donald - Seegmiller, Seeg-miller, Bud Seegmiller and Clyde McQuaid left this (Thursday) morning for their ranch on the Arizona Strip. They plan to be gone ten days. The Easy Aces were guests on Wednesday evening of Mrs. Clark Empey, with honors going to Mrs. George Wells, Mrs. James Andrus and Mrs. Kenneth Cox. Laron S.
