Show Chairman Reports County Dealers Join Scrap Drive Farmers Especially Asked To Gather Scrap In Remaining Days of '42 : The implement dealers of Wash- i irnjton county haw enlisted in the strap drive. This announcement is ; made so that Washington county ' farmers may know who to con- I (act. Beside devoting much of i their time they have also volun- ; leered the use of their equipment in the collection of this vital j scrap. : Support Canipalg-n J While they are doing everything every-thing possible to support the scrap j campaign, it is impossible for . them to gather the scrap in Washington county, which is--nec- esary to help . Utah meet the ' quota set by the government with- out cooperation. Utah must raise t 30,000 tons for 1942. It is neces-j neces-j aO' therefore, to ask the farmers who have the bulk of the scrap in their possession, to help, in t these few remaining days of 1942, by gathering the scrap on their f (arms and piling it at their gate, or somewhere where a truck can get at it for hauling, or if pos-i pos-i sible to load it on their own f tracks and pick-ups and bring it 1 to town when they have trips to make. 1 The implement dealers in Wash- f irgton county include Ashby and McQuaid of St. George; Flnley j M. If anyone in the above named dealer's district, have scrap collected and have no means of transportation, they should call one of these dealers who will make the necessary arrangements to have it picked- up.
