Show Sheriff Arrests Indiana Boy Thursday On Auto Stealing Charges Arrested in St. George Thursday morning by Sheriff Antone B. Prince is Norris Leonard Reeves, 18, of Indianapolis, Ind. The arrest ar-rest was made on suspicion that the boy was responsible for the theft recently in St. George of a car belonging to Victor Sullivan, also a car from Las Vegas. Arraigned Ar-raigned in St. George Thursday, Reeves admitted guilt in both cases. Sheriff Prince was called Wednesday Wed-nesday morning by Las Vegas police who reported the theft of a master panel 1936 Ford delivery. It was believed this was the same one who had stolen the Sullivan car, since he was headed toward St. George. The driver of a truck which Sheriff Prince stopped out on the summit informed him that such a delivery car was stopped down beyond Glendale, Nev., with a fel low asleep in it. Sheriff Prince called the Las Vegas sheriff's office and gave them the report. The offender was wanted by Sheriff Prince under the Dyer act, and Nevada had state charges. charg-es. Both sheriffs agreed to meet at Glendale, but when Sheriff Prince arrived, the boy was gone. When questioned, young Reeves admitted that he had left the Ford, catching a ride with a state patrolman into Mesquite, where he spent the day hunting with a Mesquite boy. He stayed over in Mesquite for the night, catching catch-ing a ride into St. George with a couple of aviation cadets this (Thursday) morning, and was arrested ar-rested by Sheriff Prince. In addition to the theft of the two cars, the young offender admitted ad-mitted he had stolen a cash register, reg-ister, which he broke open, taking from it $1.20, making a signed statement as to his guilt.
