Show Japan-China Travelogues , Interest A. L. K. Club 16 The members of Alice Louise Reynolds club, Chapter 16, were entertained last Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Albert Anderson And-erson with Mrs. Reed Fuller as co-hostess, at the Anderson home. Guest of the evening was Mrs. Ray Bentley. Travalogues on China and Japan were given respectively by Mrs. B. Jarvis Jr., and Mabel Jarvis. In connection with the travel talks they presented an exhibit ex-hibit of brass work from China and the industrial arts of Japan, including many photographic views of the country taken in 1903 to 1905, silk pieces, paintings on silk, coins and other articles. Preceding the travelogues, Mrs. Ambrose Cannon and Mrs. Ross Barton presented the "News of the Week" maps loaned for the purpose by the county library. These will be a regular feature at the succeeding meetings of the club. Lunch was served to 20. |
