Show SANTA CLARA INIiss Amanda Graff Reporter Mrs. Gertrude Ence and LaVern Stucki were hostesses to the Dutchette club last Thursday at the home of Mrs. Stucki. Pinochle was played with prizes going to Mrs. Ha Stucki, Glenna Hafen and Sylvia Graff. We had four babies blessed in our Fast meeting last Sunday. Miss Barbara Ray spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Ray. Loren Stucki was here from Las Vegas to spend Sunday with his family. He has employment there. Pvt. Raymond Graff, one of our soldier boys is here on a furlough. He is in the air corps stationed at Deming, N. M. Mrs. Emma Graff is seriously ill at her home. Barbara, the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loren Reber is quite ill. Sylvan and Elgin Graff returned return-ed home Sunday from a business trip to Los Angeles. The rock crusher above town has finished the gravel for surfacing surf-acing of the St. George municipal airport. Ballard Hafen spent the week end in Las Vegas. Clair Hafen was injured by a falling rock while working on the rock crusher. He sustained a fractured frac-tured ankle. Marion Graff is employed as a truck driver for the Rocky Mountain Moun-tain Service. |
