Show THE VALUE OF LIGHTING SHOWN tit. In advertising the advantages of having better lighted stores, the Southern Utah Power company naturally has the thought in mind of increasing its power out-put. At the oVsame time the company is serving its customers by drawing itl their attention to the need for better lighting displays. lf p Many an advertiser expects too much of an advertise-M!'tnent. advertise-M!'tnent. The best advertisement ever written wall not pull anstousiness into a store that is poorly arranged, poorly lighted U vand untidy. This might have gotten by in the old pioneer ' -lays when there was no competition and the customer had no Choice, but not so today. It is a striking fact that the things e,cthat count for most in the present day game of merchandising merchandis-ing are not the things that cost the most. It costs no more to , have a store spic and span, and nicely arranged with attrac-: attrac-: ive windows and good lighting than it does to have a poorly rafrarranged, untidy jumbled and messy place. II In these days when business is more difficult to get lthan usual these things are of more importance than they ,-Syhave been at any time in .the past. We are pleased to note that St. George merchants are appreciative of these facts ..and have made many improvements for better merchandis-u- during the past year. |
