Show PWA DISTRICT SUPT. OF SANITATION HERE ON INSPECTION TOUR C. R. Payne, district superintendent superin-tendent for the PWA sanitation program for, this state, was a recent re-cent visitor in Washington county. coun-ty. Mr. Payne was here checking up on the work that had been done and outlining what needs to be done along sanitation lines in this district. Attention was called by Mr. Payne to the fact that thirty men are being employed in this work. The object of which is to bring the county's sanitation up to the standard tlint is needed to protect the county's health. He pointed out that unsanitary conditions do much to breed disease and he j pointed to the improvement in' health conditions that has been brought about in the districts where sanitation projects are completed. com-pleted.
