In the 3rd quarter Dixie scored 12 points while holding hold-ing their opponents to 9 and in the 4th quarter scored another 12 While limiting B.A.C. to 2, but it wasn't quite enough and the Cedar Ce-dar City team went home with the bacon. Wade was high man with 15. Jones, B.A.C. was second with 13, Chidester, third with 10. Failure to cash in on their foul shots hurt Dixie in the first game. Out of 14 free throws they were only able to bag 5. The second night they only made 6 out of 15. A little better shooting in this department de-partment would have won the game on Friday night. Saturday night they were just outclassed in the first half so that if they made all of the gift shots they still would only have been tied. B.A.C. would have been a hard team to have beaten Saturday night because be-cause it seemed like no matter how they threw the ball, or where they threw it from, it went through the hoop. At that they slumped in the second half to where they couldn't make them count. The last two games of the sea- son for the college will be played at Cedar on Friday and Saturday nights, February 2S and 29. While victory or loss will not have anv particular bearing on the teams' standing in the league, both teams will bv out to win. Dixie wants to so up there and reverse the games and B.A.C. is determined to prove that her victories vic-tories were 'not flukes. Local fans feel that if the Dixie team can be present in full strength that they can take both games. They stili believe that the college team has a couple of good games in its system. |
