Show PROSPECTIVE WATER SUPPLY INSPECTION TOUR TO BE MADE 1 T. H. Humpherys, state engineer engin-eer will leave Salt Lake City this morning, February 20, for an inspection in-spection tour to include Utah, Juab, Millard, Beaver, Iron, Washington, Wash-ington, Kane, Garfield, Piute, Sevier Sev-ier and Sanpete counties, according accord-ing to a report received from the engineer's office. The purpose of the trip is to observe the general conditions with respect to prospective water supply, to confer with various engineers en-gineers and agents in the counties referred to who are assisting underground un-derground water users in the preparation pre-paration of claims and to confer j and hold meetings with the water j commissioners and water users ofi the Beaver, Coal Creek, Long Val-' ley, (Upper Virgin) and Lower ', Virgin. Meetings will be held in the following places to discuss distri-1 bution problems with the water users and to appoint water com-1 missioiiers for the seas-on of 1936:' Meeting at i Vdar City (Coal. Meeting at St. George (Santa Clara) County Court House, 3:00 p.m., February 21. At the meeting to be held at Hurricane, matters relating the Navajo Lake will be discussed. The forest supervisor, the Fish and Game association at Cedar City and the Fish and Game commissioner com-missioner have been asked by the state engineer to be present at that me'eting. |
