Show CAMP VEYO NEWS The new Commanding Officer of Camp Veyo, Capt. Richard W. Horn, has in the past week, made quite a few improvements in the appearance and sanitation O'f the camp. Light .paint is being used on the interior of the barracks, shoe racks are to be installed and a few "eye sores" about camp have been removed. lst'Lt. Leon Fields returned on the 24 th of February from a seven-day leave which was spent in southern California. Capt. W. H. Riley, medical officer of-ficer of the camp, also spent the past week-end in southern California. Calif-ornia. On the night of February 2 2nd, the camp' gave another of its delightful de-lightful dances, which was well attended. at-tended. Sandwiches, coffee, cocoa, co-coa, cake and ice cream were served" serv-ed" during the evening and the camp orchestra furnished the music. mu-sic. The next dance to be given by this camp will be on March 17th. We heartily invite the public pub-lic to attend. |
