Show Dixie To Play Final Games of Season At Cedar Fri. Sat. Friday and Saturday nights Dixie and B.A.C. will play the final fin-al two games of their schedules iu the Junior college division. Both teams have had in and out sea sons with B.A.C. taking two games from Dixie on the local floor. Dixie will be out to even the score when they tangle tomorrow night. Whether they will be able to do so is the question that has local fans bothered. Starting with the best material in years, Coach Lee Hafen ran into one difficulty after another. He first lost Stratton, one of the best prospects that has played on the local court, had five Q1 his boys suspended so that they were out- of practice and out of the Weber We-ber games, lost Hughes through sickness, Price was handicapped with an injured leg in the first part of the season, Richards was injured and his playing handicapped, handicap-ped, Page lost in the two -B.A.C. games because Of injuries just when he seemed to be hitting his stride and so it has gone all season sea-son long. All in all it has been a rather disasterous season for the college. However, next year prospects should again be good and local fans are convinced that old man hard luck can't camp on Dixie's door step forever. |
