Show Rockville Mrs. Philetus Jones Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Ballard spent Wednesday in Cedar City on business. busi-ness. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Harmon of St. George came up Sunday to take their mother, Mrs. Alice Harmon, who has been staying with her daughter, Mrs. Waldon Ballard, back to her home in St. i George. Riley Hirschi suffered a bad injury to his hand at the Graff coal mine on Kanarra mountain and has been home for a week or more. Karma Hirschi and Lowell Terry have gone to St. George to join the N.Y.A. Jake Dalton returned home Saturday from Nevada where he has been employed the last few months. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Jones returned re-turned Monday from Ogden where they spent Thanksgiving. Miss Dessie Jones visited over the week end at her home in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Stevens accompanied by Darrell's sister, Elnore, left for Las Vegas where he has employment. Mr. Stevens has had the supervision of Montgomery Mont-gomery Camp grounds the past year. Rockville and Springdale scored in nearly all the events at the scout celebration held at Hurri-cance Hurri-cance last Saturday. Mrs. Sarah Tuft, son, George Tuft, wife and daughter of Santa Monica, Calif., visited with the Ballard families here last Saturday Satur-day night. Mrs. Tuft was formerly Sarah Smith of Rockville. |
