Show r Dixie Reviewers Mrs. Ellis Everett was hostess to the Dixie Reviewers club" Mon-. Mon-. afternoon at the Arrowhead banquet room. Pres. Verna Call Presided. Mrs. Orval Hafen read the play "The American Way" by George s- Kaufman and Moss Hart. The P is exciting and beautiful as the American flag, long may it wave. It is a first primer in Americanism, a rousing cry on behalf of the American manner of Democratic life. Mrs. Hafen gave the play in a very artistic manner, clearly depicting each character. Mrs. Jack Ricketts sang "God Bless America". One honorary, five visiting and 18 regular members were present besides the following guests: Mrs. George Pace,, Mrs. Jack Ricketts, Mr- B. Glen Smith, Mrs. D. M. Snow, Mrs. Clyde McQuaid, Mrs. falter Jensen ( Mrs. Eric Snow, s. Arthur Paxman, Mrs. R. M. jber, Mrs. Ray Whipple, Mrs. L. Reid, Mrs. Elmo Webster, Earl Cannon, Mrs. Arthur Uracken and Mrs. James Baldwin. |
