Show Cane Beds, Ariz. Mrs. Jos. T. Wilkinson Reporter Mrs. Cora Wells and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Daves of Kingman, arrived in Cane Beds Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving Day with Mrs. Well's daughter, Mrs. Bye Hutchins. Mrs. Daves is a sister. They expect to remain about a week. Little Melba Hutchins has been very sick the past week with tonsilitis. Quite a number of Cane Beds people spent Thanksgiving Day at Canaan ranch where Mrs. Julia Leithead was entertaining and a very enjoyable day is reported. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Biggers spent Thanksgiving Day in Las Vegas, returning home Saturday evening. Mrs. David Esplin returned on Wednesday from a week's visit with relatives in St. George. Annie W. Wilkinson went to St. George Saturday. James Walker of Cedar City has moved to Cane Beds for the winter. Visitors of the stake Sunday school board of Hurricane and LaVerkin met with Cane Beds people in Sunday services. Those present were Frank Barber, stake Sunday school superintendent and daughter, Leila, Miss Reba Roundy, Lavell Iverson and little son, Winfred Gubler and Keith Tobler. Their talks were timely and interesting. Julia Leithead of Canaan ranch visited relatives here Sunday. |
