Show College Professors Study Desert Tortoise An intensive study of the habits and life history of the Desert Tortoise is being carried on in the vicinity of the Beaver Dam Wash in the southwestern part of Utah by Dr. Woodbury of the University Biology department, and Ross Hardy of Dixie college. A total of 175 turtles have been branded during the past three years for the purpose of observation observa-tion and complete records of their doing and maps of their dwellings and habitat are being kept.
