Show CITY ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE INSTALLATION' OF METERS, ME-TERS, FIXING THE RATES TO DE CHARGED FOR WATER DRAWN THROUGH SAID METERS ME-TERS AND REPEALING SECTION SEC-TION 388, CHAPTER 3, TITLE 19, OF THE 1930 REVISED ORDINANCES OR-DINANCES AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. Be It ordained by the City Council of St. George City, Utah: Section 1: The superintendent of water works is hereby instructed instruc-ted to install meters at the expense ex-pense of the city on all pipe lines now drawing water from the city waterworks, which do not now have meters. Section 2: From the time said meters are installed, the meter rates for the supply at water from the city water works then in effect shall apply. Section 3: A charge of One ($1.00) Dollar per month, for six months beginning July 1, 1936 is hereby levied on all meters installed as provided herein. The same to be assessed and collected col-lected in the same manner as water now drawn through meters is assessed and collected. Section 4: Section 388, Chapter Chap-ter 3, Title 19, of the 1930 Revised Re-vised Ordinances of the City of St. George and all other ordinances ordin-ances In conflict 'herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6: In the opinion of the city council, it is necessary to the peace, health, and safety of the inhabitants of St. George City, that this ordinance become effective immediately. Therefore, this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication. Passed by the City Council of St. George City on the 2nd. day of May, 1936. .
