BACCALAUREATE EXERCISES TO BE GIVEN ON MAY 17 Pres. George Thomas of the University of Utah, will be the guest speaker at the Beccalaur-ate Beccalaur-ate exercises of the Dixie junior college to be held in the St. George Tabernacle, May 17. at S:00 p. in. according to Pres. B. Glen Smith. The Dixie junior college male chorus will present "The Vision of Sir Launfal", a medevial cantata, can-tata, under the direction of J. W. McAllister, head of the vocal department. Leland Lamoreaux and Brant Abbott are the solists. Clara Woodhouse and Hermese Abbott will accompany on the piano and organ. An excerpt of the cantata was presented by the Dixie chorus over radio station KSL, April 27. The entire selection was given giv-en the following day before the University of, Utah student body. Other muscial numbers are being be-ing arranged by the music department depart-ment at the college.
