Show DIXIE MAN IS INJURED WHEN THROWN FROM HIS HORSE CLOSE BY' LEEDS LEEDS, UTAH, May 4 T. G. Stirling narrowly escaped, injury Sunday at approximately 12:30 p. m., when he was thrown from a broncho and matches ignited in his shirt pocket. Mr. Stirling was knocked unconscious and would have been seriously burned if a Burlington bus had not happened hap-pened along right after the accident. acci-dent. The bus driver extinguished the flames with his fire extinguisher, extin-guisher, according to Dr. Mtlo Moody and Dr. D. A. McGregor who arrived as the bus driver was extinguishing the fire. They examined Mr. Sterling and had him brought to the D. A. McGregor Mc-Gregor hospital here for treatment treat-ment by the bus driver. He suffered suf-fered a gash over his left eye and had his right hand burned. Dr. McGregor and Dr. Moody were on their way to Cedar City at the time of the accident. |
