There is one day, however, that few of us even know about, May 12th. Let us ponder a moment. What special significance could this day possibly have? What importance to the general public? We have all, at one time or another either heard or uttered that dramtic cry, "She will live!" or "He will live!" or "He will not be lame!" These or. a dozen other vital expressions or thanksgiving thanks-giving and heartfelt gladness, answer an-swer adequately the above questions. ques-tions. Great advancements have been made in alleviating human suffering suff-ering and pain. Greater advancements advance-ments will be made. Today we have physicians who posses a wide medical knwoledge skillful surgeons, druggists adept in compounding, com-pounding, well trained nurses, excellently ex-cellently equipped hospitals. The up-to-date hopital providing provid-ing the poor, the sick and the injured of our community with scientific medical and surgical treatment, dedicated to all suffering suffer-ing humanity, is a triumph of modern civilization.
