Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Marker and family of Cedar City were visitors here Sunday. Pete Chenovic returned home Sunday from Plymouth where he has been working. Mrs. George Mathews has gone to Kanarra to visit her sister. Mrs. Migard of Spokane, Washington Wash-ington is here visiting her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Jerry Andrews. Bertram Ruesch has gone to shear sheep. Philip Roberts of San Francisco Fran-cisco was a visitor in town. K. D. Williams of St. George was a visitor in town Saturday. Mrs. Lydia Lee was visiting her daughter, Mrs. Beth Spend-love Spend-love of Hurricane Sunday and Monday. Sylvester Earl has gone to Las Vegas to visit his sister, and will go1 'from there to Tonopah to visit relatives there. The upper grades attended the Play Day at St. George on Friday, Fri-day, May 1. The lower grades with Lorraine Heaton, teacher, and a number of parents went to Zion Park for May Day outing. The Gleaner Girls with their leader Lorraine Heaton took an outing to Zion Park and stayed over night. Horace Cornelius and Robert Nelson have gone to herd sheep for a while. |
