There has been some question as to the winter location lo-cation of this company. it has leen reported that it would probably prob-ably move into the Wayne County Wonderland, near Fruita, Utah However, it is n0w definitely known that ths camp will be reestablished re-established at Zion National park. Orders have been received by Lt. Edward Cantor, commanding a cadre of men from this camn at Pipe Springs National Monument, to move his force to Pinto, Utah and begin construction on a new camp. Lt. Cantor has just, completed com-pleted building a camp at Pipe Springs, Arizona. Captain C. L. Hall in charge of construction at the new Henriville grazing camp reports that his camp is now practically completed. complet-ed. Dr. R. c. Merrill, District Educational Edu-cational Coordinator, and Lee Hales, Educational Adviser for the Aspen Grove camp at Escalante, Utah, were guests of the Bryce camp Thursday 2 6th. They spent the day conferring with Von H. Robertson, new Adviser for this camp, on problems relative to his duties, and on the winter educational educa-tional program. Sunday morning twenty boys from the Bryce CCC camp attended attend-ed Sunday school at Panguitch, Utah. They were accompanied by Lt. H. S. Brothers. Sunday evening even-ing a musical- and religious program pro-gram was given at the camp under the direction of Panguitch North ward. Bishop Hans P. Ipson was in charge. The group in attendance attend-ance from Panguitch consisted of Bishop Ipson, L. J. Hatch of Panguitch Pan-guitch Stake Presidency, Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph Bigelow, President of the Y. W. M. I. A., Dr. Joseph Bigelow, and a singing group from the Y. W. M. I. A. The program was much appreciated by the boys who attended. On Sunday, September 30th, the Panguitch tSouth ward will give a Sunday evening program at the camp. Saturday evening Capt. Whitney Whit-ney and Lt. Brothers together with the leaders and assistant- leaders lea-ders club, played hosts to the camp in a bonfire party and marsh-mallow marsh-mallow roast. Volunteer readings and mirsical numbers made up the program, with the honors going to Ferrill Johnson (Fagan) 'for his negro interpretations of songs and was accompanied by Stan Fairbourne singing and playinig the guitar. |
