Show TOQUERVILLE Toquerville, Jan. 3. Tom Wom-ack Wom-ack and company are here for the winter, having established a polo field here. Visitors from Fort Douglas. Doug-las. to participate in the opening were Majors Jones, Young and Bastain. The Perry Bros, of Cedar City were also here. The polo field is open, free to all who desire to enter into this sport. F. B. Anderson is putting shelves aud a table in the school library room where between two and three hundred hun-dred books have been donated by the townspeople. Our school principal, Alva Armstrong Arm-strong of Ephraim, and Miss Snow of Pine Valley have resumed school after af-ter the holiday vacation. Bringhurst Bros, are adding a new front to their store which is an attractive at-tractive improvement to the town. John Larson and friends have returned re-turned from Alamo, Nev., where they spent the holidays. Mrs. M. V. Lamb has returned to Central to resume work as school teacher. The M. I. Assns. have made the holidays here a percfect success. A. P. Spilsbury is preparing to plant an orchard of cherry trees. Leo Bringhurst is erecting a new bungalow. |
