Show UTAH WILL GIVE WARM WELCOME TO VISITING EDITORS The visit to Salt'Lake in 1928 of 3 50 editors and managers of smalltown small-town papers in all parts of the country, coun-try, who will be delegates to the National Na-tional Editorial association convention, conven-tion, will mark an important step in the progress of this state, according to W. W. Armstrong, who headed the drive to raise the 1927 advertising campaign fund of the Salt Lake chamber" of commerce. These men, it is explained, exert a powerful influence in moulding' the public opinion of the country, and as a result of their visit it is expected that Utah will receive much favorable favor-able publicity. Present plans of the conventions committee of the chamber cham-ber of commerce call for taking the visitors on a tour of practically the entire state. Various towns and cities of the state have been invited by Chairman Ed. Gray of this committee com-mittee to suggest any entertainment plans in their respective communities that might be considered advisable in making up the schedule. The chamber of commerce will be assisted in entertaining the members of the national assoeiaion by the Utah Editorial association, a branch of the larger organization. Chamber officials point out that the advent of these writers from all parts of the country will fit in admirably with the comprehensive advertising program pro-gram of that organization, by which the resources and advantages of Salt Lake and Utah are broadcast to the world each year.
