Terracing is a method borrowed from the old World and It has many advantages ad-vantages in agriculture. Six thousand acres of land has recently re-cently been terraced in Tallapoosa Talla-poosa county, Alabama, for the control of soil erosion In cultivated cul-tivated area. A cooperative organization or-ganization known as the Soil Erosion club supplies tractor outfits out-fits to the ifarmer which enables him to terrace his land at from one dollar to two-fifty an acre. |
