Show ROCKVILLE Mrs. Florence Jones and Mrs. Alice Ballard spent Saturday and Sunday in St. George visiting with relatives. Riley Hirschi left during the week for Wolf Hole to herd sheep for Rulon Langston. Friday night a program and dance wi$i a barbecue with rolls and hot cocoa was served to a big crowd at the new school building, which has been badly needed. Rassmussen Brothers of Fillmore were the contractors! and they have done a very good job. Members of the school board present were: Bishop Taylor of New Harmony, Mr. Farnsworth of Enterprise and Mr. Imlay of Hurricane. Arthur 'Terry, Warren and Howard Hirschi spent the weekend week-end home from Bryce Canyon. Mrs. Alvin Jones left for Hidden Hid-den Lake, Monday where she will visit with her mother, Mrs. Ellen Chamberlain, who will leave soon for Mesa, Arizona where she will work in the temple this winter. Joseph Gubler of La Verkin and Samuel Crawford of Spring-dale Spring-dale attended meeting Sunday p-ivinp- vp.rv eood talks on Gen- elogical work. A lawn party was held at the home of Mrs. Phebe Terry for all Relief Society members and their partners. .. Games were played after which melons were served. A good time was had by all. |
