Show ENTERPRISE Walter Smith came to Enterprise En-terprise Tuesday for the purpose pur-pose of distributing checks to the people who had sold cattle to the government. Mt. Smith .received a hurried summons back to St. George and the money was turned over to Mr. Lund for distribution. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Empey, Jr., of st George were business visitors here Sunday. Our Sacrament Services (Sunday (Sun-day afternoon were turned over to the genealogy committee and a very good program was rendered. ren-dered. Mrs. Orpha Hunt and He-ber He-ber Thompson were present to I represent the stake genealogy committee. Andrew; Hafen and John Cannon Can-non were, here from th CCC camp at Panguitch to spend the week-end. Miss Maude Hewlett of New Castle is here attending high school this winter. Merril Terry, Raymond Farnsworth, Farns-worth, and Grant Terry spent the week-end here with their parents. They are attending the Dixie College. Walter Bowler who has been ill with pneumonia is reported better. His brothers John and Francis Bowler are here with him. Leland Huntsman, Elda Huntsman Hunts-man and Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Lafay-ette Terry attended the alumni dance in St. George Friday night. |
