Show CARL MOSS TALKS TO ROTARY CLUB Carl Moss was the guest speaker speak-er at the regular Friday luncheon lunch-eon of the Rotary club. Mr. Moss spoke on the subject of Archery and its possibilities in the Boy Scout work. Taking the subject from the first record of a bow and arrow having been used, Mr. Moss brought It down to date. Bows and arrows were shown to the club. Also the wood from which they are made and the various stages of the making of the bow. Mr. Moss pointed out the possibilities of growing Osage Orange here in this district and told how he has received many requests for this wood from organizations or-ganizations in Salt Lake. Mrs. May Pace was a iguest .of the club. She assisted at the piano in some good old fashioned fashion-ed songs. Ellis Pickett refused to let the singing stop until (Sweet Adeline was sung. |
