Show FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. NETTIE CHURCH SIMPKINSWEDNESDAY Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Net-tie Church (Simpkins were held in the Stake Tabernacle on Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon under the direction di-rection of Bishop Vernon Worthen Wor-then of the West Ward. There were many beautiful floral offerings of-ferings and. a large number of relatives and friends present to pay their last respects to the devoted young wife and mother who had been called home. The opening prayer was offered of-fered by John T. Woodbury. The speakers, Elder H. Val Hafen, President George F. Whitehead, Bishop Ronnow of Panaca, Nevada. President W. O. After the death of her husband she wns married to Willard Slmpklns and to them four children were born. Jack, Rernolee, Clara Jenn, and I Clyde. She also reared to man I and womanhood three children of her husband's by a former marriage. These are Mrs. Marguerite Mar-guerite Ence. Mrs. LeJla Dous-ett Dous-ett and Waldo .Slmpklns. She Is survived by her mother, Mrs! Violet Church and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Gordon Gor-don Whitehead, Mts. Ward Es-plin. Es-plin. Mrs. Lee Esplin and Earl Church of St. George; Mrs. Frank Sevy of Panguitch, Mrs. Dwight Fullmer of CirclevMle, Bishop Vernon Church of La Verkln and Hayden Church of Logan. There were a large number of people present at the funeral services from Circleville where Sister Simpkins was president of the Relief Society for a number of years and from Panaca where she has made her home. Five of Wlllard Simpkins brothers were present at the services. The loved ones who are bereft be-reft have the sympathy of this community In their great loss. |
