Show JOHN FRANK. BEATTY OF HURRICANE, DIED SUDDENLYMONDAY HURRICANE, Monday, October Octob-er 1 Joseph Franklin Beatty, age fifty-five died here this morning morn-ing after a two day's illness due to ulcers of the stomach. Mr. Beatty was the son of John and Mary Ana Beatty whoj are both dead. He was born in Toquerville, August 28, 1879, and married Chloe Fuller in 1903. They moved to Hurricane in 1906 and have lived here since that time. Mr. Beatty filled a mission for the L. D. S. church from 1900-1903, 1900-1903, in the southern states. He was a High Priest in the church and has been President of the M. I. A. and acted in capacity of Sunday school superintendent. He is survived by his wife, and seven daughters and three sons. They are: Mrs. Edward Lake, Salt Lake City, Mrs. H'or-tense H'or-tense Robb and Mrs. Theo Perry, Cedar City, Dora, Vilate Florence Flor-ence and Barbara Beatty of Hurricane Hur-ricane and Owen, Donald and Lloyd Beatty all of Hurricane. He is also survived by the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Mrs. Peter Bruim, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Fred Gardner, Panguitch, John T. Beatty, Toquerville, Es-bert Es-bert Beatty, Toquerville, George Beatty, St. George, Archie, Max and Mathew Beatty of Pintura. The funeral was held Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon, at 3:00 p.m. |
