Show ROCKVILLE Word has been received of the marriage of Mrs. Rosalie Dennett of this place to a Mt. Tidwell, of Caldwell, Idaho. Mrs. Dennett Den-nett has been spending the winter win-ter in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. William Fager-gren Fager-gren and son, Mrs. Munn Q. Cannon, and Mrs. Hazel C. Haw-ley, Haw-ley, all of Salt Lake City, spent Thursday of last week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fager-gren Fager-gren their son, and his wife, at the home of Mrs. P. Jones. They were enroute to California to visit relatives and also transact ing business. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hirschi, Bishop Ballard and wife, Mr. and Mrs. A'fton Ballard and Mr. and Mrs. Alton Jones, attended the banquet at Hurricane, Friday night. Mr and Mrs. Russell Mahan spent Sunday evening in Cedar City. Mrs. Earl Lawrence and twQ daughters returned with them to visit with relatives. Mrs. Leo Hirschi who has been spending the winter in fit. George with her children has returned home. We certainly appreciate the fine storms we have been having the past week. Tine Tait, of Mt. Carmel is here buying cattle. Miss Agusta' Jennings is home again after spending the winter in Kanab. The rock fence at the chapel grounds is completed Mr Rathman, representative of the Kerr Manufacturing company, and Mrs. Hunter, of the U. A. C. gave a demonstration to the ladies lad-ies in the canning of meats and vegetables. Our town was well represented at the Stake conference at Hur-( 1 ricane Sunday. Ira Millett is setting up a saw mill above town, and will bring his logs from the mountains on trucks. Mr. and Mts. Ferd Tate and children were visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Jones Monday. The little daughter of Glen Hirschi was very ill Sunday, but is improving now. |
