Show ZION PARK CAMPS DXP-2 and NP-4 The entire personnel of camps DNP-2 and NP-4 located in Zion National Park is proud of the report which followed the inspection inspec-tion of Forester L. F. Cook made on January 3, 1935. Mr. Cook's report concerning the Camps is as follows: CCC Camp Inspection Both Camps are in excellent condition, presenting about the best general appearance that I have seen anywhere any-where . . . Excellent cooperation exists between the Army and Park Service, and a fine spirit is evidenced among the enrollees. Conclusion "I was very well pleased with the work being done by ECW in Zion. The Park presents pre-sents a fine appearance and while a lot of fine work is under way, the whole 'public area presents finished, unspoiled and comparatively compara-tively natural appearance, which is not generally felt in many of the other Parks while work is going on." Mr. Cook is the Forester in charge of the Western Division, Branch of Forestry. |
