Show WASHINGTON A dance was given last Thursday Thurs-day night by the Commercial club. Mr. and Mrs. Paul STeegmiller of St. George were visiting here Sunday. Tony Nisson spent a few days at home from the B. Y. U. last week. The Boy Scouts' circus held in the amusement hall, was very success'ful. The troops from the three St. George wards, and Washington Ward taking part. A large crowd enjoyed the stunts. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sproul, received word of the,death of one of the twin babies of their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Ethel Prince, at Gooding, Good-ing, Idaho. They left last Monday Mon-day the fourth, with their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Paul Seegmiller, for Gooding. Mrs. Seegmiller and her father returned, Wednesday. Mrs. Sproul remaining with her daughter, as the other baby was very low It also passed away last Friday, and a double funeral was held, Monday The babies were nine months old and contacted con-tacted pneumonia, while suffering with the whooping cough. Mr. and Mrs. Prince have the sympathy sympa-thy of their many friends in the loss of their little ones. Elders Atkins and Burgess, our visiting missionaries were the speakers at our Sunday services. They both gave very interesting talks. Harry Averett went to Los Angeles An-geles with a load of chickens last week. The improvements being made on our ward meeting house will soon be completed. Mrs. Martha Alexander who has been confined to her bed with rheumatism for several weeks, is slightly improved. |
