Town council meetings are being held in the building every fourth Thursday. Representatives from the Uintah County Commission, Uintah County Sheriff, Justice of the Peace and Gayle McKeachnie, State Representative for Daggett and Uintah Counties attended the dedication. Also in attendance were Ralph Shields, mayor of Roosevelt; officers' of the Town of Ballard and the Ballard Water Improvement District. Merrill Mecham, Uintah County Commission chairman, discussed the need for the building and the improvement im-provement it would provide administration ad-ministration services in the area. He also remarked that there was excellent cooperation between the Ballard Town Council and Uintah County Commissioners Com-missioners in the construction of the facility. |
