Mrs. Robert Ahlborn gave birth to twin daughters early Monday morning June 30. The one little girl was stillborn and was Duried in the Tridell Cemetery Wednesday morning. Family graveside services were held. The other baby girl will be kept in the incubator at the hospital for several days. She weighed 4 pounds 6 ounces and will be named Rachel Ann. Mrs. Jerry Goodrich took her small son , Ryan to Salt Lake City Tuesday for medical attention. She returned home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas McKee left Saturday for Casper, Wyo., to attend the wedding of Verna's brother, Lonnie. The McKee's visited at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Davis and Dallas Chopping. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Leon Glines and family, Las Vegas, Nev., have been visiting at the Charles Glines home. Fern Bartlett took her husband Lester back to the LDS Hospital Thursday where he will be a patient for several days. Mr. Bartlett had a heart problem. Mr. and Mrs. Lennis McKee attended the Bingham family reunion Friday and Saturday at Moon Lake. The Joseph Levi Kitchen family reunion was held Saturday, June 29 at the Tridell Chapel grounds. Approximately Ap-proximately 150 family members attended. at-tended. This year's reunion was under the direction of Belva Chamberlain, Cedar Fort. Volleyball was played and fun games for the younger children. All of the Kitchen children were in attendance at-tendance but Norman. Next year's reunion will be under the direction of Melvin Kitchen. The Tridell Community held a 4th of July celebration on the chapel grounds. The day started with a flag raising ceremony. Richard Perry, Gene Wallace, .Terry Goodrich harbequed beef, lamb and pork for the holiday dinner. A delicious meal was served to a large crowd. Games and contests were carried out during the day. Included In-cluded in these activities were several volleyball games, foot and bicycle races, horseshoe throwing, greased pig chase and a chicken chase. In charge of the games were Paul Kitchen and Sherri and Lon Brinkerhoff. |
