Show Lapoint flrda (Tlansfield I Phone 247-3767 J Reception held for the Cal Hubers The reception held for Mr. and Mrs. Cal Huber last Friday night in the Lapoint Ward chapel included the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Huber from Doylsetown, Perm., with four children; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hill from Saddle Mountain, Nev. Mrs. Hill will be remembered as Rolaine Huber. Mrs. Cal Huber is the former Susan Lemon. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Goodrich was at the reception on Friday. They are here from Salt Lake City and are grandparents of the bride. This is the first reception that has been held in the new Lapoint chapel. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Horrocks, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Workman, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Garrick and family, Mr. Frank Jenkins and son Wesley from Craig, Colo., went up Uintah Canyon over the 4th of July. Mr. Clive Sprouse from Ely, Nev., is visiting at the home of Mrs. Thelma Winn. He took Mrs. Winn and Mr. Ersel Sprouse out to dinner on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hill left their children for a few days with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Huber. , Mr. and Mrs. David Oakes from Pleasant Grove visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee. Mrs. Winnie Sireech was dead in a parking lot in Salt Lake City. No money was taken and no one seems to have a motive as yet. Ricky Moore has moved a new double wide trailer in. There is a new oil well being drilled on the hill behind Ronald Horrocks place. It is being drilled by Koch Drilling Co. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Lee have moved back to Lapoint from San Diego and are building a new house back of the home of Mrs. Thelma Winn. Mr. and Mrs. Craig Hansen are the proud parents of a baby girl. It was blessed Sunday by an uncle. The Matthew Mansfield family held a reunion up at Bennion Park over the fourth People participating were Mr. and Mrs. Kay Winn, son Tony with a friend from Atlamont, Donald; Mrs. Themla Winn; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Lee and family; Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Nance and family; Mr. and Mrs. James Mansfield and family; Miss LeeAnn Johnson; Del Ray Van Luven. Everyone enjoyed fishing and doing their own thing. |
