Show LDS Wards Now Involved In Penny Parade Plans are being made for the annual Penny Parade, sponsored by the Primary Association of the LDS Church. Representatives of all three LDS wards in Mo-ab Mo-ab will be calling on the residents re-sidents of the commurtitv, with proceeds of the drive, to go to the Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City. ' About 7,975 patients were admitted to the hospital during du-ring 19G9. Out of this number, num-ber, 899 were paid for from contributions collected. All children, regardless of race, religion "or national origin, under 18 years of age who can be medically benefited, are eligible for service. Parents Par-ents who can do so assume financial responsibility for private patients. Contributions Contribu-tions are only used for Primary Pri-mary service cases. The hosoital offers more than 32 different services and facilities, such as physical therapy, social services, recreation rec-reation therapy, birth defects de-fects center, blood bank, preschool pre-school for cerebral palsy, children's psychiatric center, cen-ter, child development clinic, clin-ic, cardiovascular surgery nd heart natherization la-bTa'crv. la-bTa'crv. 'rhu"2 were an average av-erage of 105 patients per day in the hospital in 1969. Representatives of the Primary Pri-mary Association will appear ap-pear on Moab Report, Channel Chan-nel 6, Thursday morning to acquaint the public with the hospital. |
