Show Two New Council men Take Oaths Of Office During Tuesday Meeting Ci''.y Council members rpent a quiet meeting Tuesday Tues-day night with a full number num-ber of members. After the swearing in of the two new city councilmen, Jack West and Bob Migliori, bids were opened for a pipe threader. Apparent low bidder was Plateau Supply Company, with a bid of $618.06. In other business, a bid of ?910 was accepted for an awning to cover the windows win-dows on the south side of the city offices. Bidder for this work was Aluminum Products Co. of Salt Lake City. The group of men decided de-cided to trade a used tractor trac-tor belonging to the City to General Services in Salt Lake City for a newer model, mo-del, although still a used one. Cost differential will be about $2000. The men passed an ordinance ordin-ance that will require food handlers in the City to pass a health and written test each year to obtain a food 'handlers permit. This permit per-mit will be necessary for rny one who is working in a public eating establish ment. A similar ordinance was passed recently by the County. Bids will be advertised for a new lawn mower for the City Park, it was decided during the meeting. Selected was Jack West, who will serve the remainder of a four-year Urm vacated by Earl F. (Bud) Blank. A simple ceremony in the Council Chambers saw Robert Mi-gilori, Mi-gilori, who was appointed at the previous prev-ious meeting, and Jack West repeat their oaths of office, which were administered ad-ministered by Judg: Donald Crist. |
