Show Police Report Activities for Past Week City Police officer Gilbert Barnette is now at the Weber We-ber State College police academy ac-ademy in Ogden. He will be attending school for the next five weeks. This, according ac-cording to Chief Melvin S. Dalton, will leave only one man, Lawrence Rowley left to complete the course. During- this past week only on-ly one ease of vandalism was reported to City officers, offi-cers, and that occurred at the First Baptist Church when about, five' windows were broken. On Feb. 1, Ralph Miller, Sr. ran into a car driven hy Jeri Ann White, doing about ab-out $230 damage to the White vehicle. The accident occurred at the intersection of U. S. 160 and Kane Creek Blvd. Another intersection was the scene of an accident this, week when a car driven driv-en by Marilyn Kay David hit a car driven by Billie June Price, doing about $250 damage to the David car and $100 to the Price car. There were no injuries and no citations. City Police have issued a warning to those people who are driving with faulty head and- tail lights. From now. on, stated Chief Dalton, citations ci-tations will be issued for these violations. |
