Show Junior Prom Planned Here This Saturday By Alan Day The decorations are going up as the junior class prepares for the, biggest event of their junior year - the Junior Prom. Three months of practicing and building decorations are about to come to an end this Saturday, April 2. The prom will start at- 8:30 with the promenade starting at 10:00. The theme for this year's prom is "Colour My World." The cost is $5 per couple or $3 stag. The band is going to be Water-brothers Water-brothers from Provo. , The promenade this year will be danced to "Nadia's Theme." Mrs. Joyce Victor, who choreographed the promenade prome-nade and is teaching it to the students, is finally letting out a sigh of relief as the dancing students are finally doing what they are supposed to and not stepping on their partner's feet. This year there are going to 45 couples dancing. The prom's co-chairmen, Lynne Wimmer and Ray Couch, hope the prom will be a big success and have put forth a lot of effort to make it that way. Of course they couldn't do it themselves. Brenda Harrison is in charge of the refreshments, Judy Martinez is responsible respon-sible for the promenade, and Rebecca Downard is in charge of the invitations. The junior class advisors, Carol Jean Brown and Al Heaton, are happy with the effort being put forth. The dance is in two days and you are invited. |
