Show Services Friday For Alfred Slama Alfred T. Slama, a retired miner and Moab resident for three years, died April 26, 1977 at Allen Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 13, 1903 to Anthony J. and Anna Reisberg Slama in Germantown, Neb., he married Ella Bitton on April 23, 1926, and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary anniver-sary last year. They resided in Price for 37 years, and he was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. In Moab he was a member of the LDS First Ward. Survivors include his wife, five sons, David James, West Jordan, Ut., Leonard Eugene, San Jose, Ca., Albert Herman, Price, Arthur Thomas, Lucad-ia, Lucad-ia, Ca., Alfred Lee, Price; a daughter, Mrs. Lily Lucille Minter, Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Cavalli, Ogden, Ut., and Mrs. Edna Grace Miller, Roy, Ut.;. a step-brother, John L. Irey, North Hollywood, Ca.; 28 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29 at the LDS First Ward Chapel at 11 a.m. Graveside services and interment inter-ment will be at 4 p.m. the same date at the Price City Cemetery. Visitors may call at Hefner's Turner Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. April 28. |
