Show Campgrounds Now Open At Mesa Verde Park Superintendent Ronald Switzcr of Mesa Verde National Nation-al Park announced that the Morfield Campground and the park entrance station will be open for the summer beginning begin-ning Friday. April 29. Switzcr pointed out that both the $2 per night per site camping fee and the $2 per vehicle or 50c per bus passenger fees w ill be collected collect-ed at the park entrance station. The entrance station will be open initially from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the hours extended as the season pro- grcsscs. Morfield Campground offers of-fers 475 individual campsites, most of w hich will accommodate accommo-date trailers and 18 sites for organized group camping. Campsites are available on a first come first served basis. Camping is limited to 14 days during the summer. Evening campfirc programs are scheduled sched-uled to begin in early June.
