Product ion Enjoying Moab Scenery, Hospitality The production of good G-rated family film entertainment entertain-ment is the aim of Doty-Dayton Productions, currently in this area filming "Against a Crooked Sky." They have two tremendously tremendous-ly successful family films out now, "Where the Red Fern Grows" and "Seven Alone." Fifteen year old Stewart Peterson, a Wyoming ranch boy who had the starring- role in both of the films, joins veteran actor Richard Boone in "Against a Crooked Sky." The plot deals with the boy's search for his sister, who was abducted by a band of Indians. The theme of the movie canbe condensed to "Greater love hath no man that he who gives his life for a friend." Of special interest, in this film is the resurrection of an actual dead language, the speaking of which requires intensive rehearsal for proper intonation and spoken inflection. inflec-tion. Such close attention to accurate detail is one of the practices which gives believ-ability believ-ability and thus makes for excellence in Doty-Dayton productions. Currently in town with the film are 26 cast members and a crew of 48. They are located all over town, but headquarter at the Ramada Inn.
