Show Heavy Agenda Faced Here By City Court This Week A heavy agenda of cases came before Moab City Court during the past week beginning with a trial before the court on Sept. 13. Jorgle Sherman appeared for trial on a charge of DWI. He was found guilty and was ordered order-ed to pay a fine of $200 or in default of payment of the fine to serve 40 days in jail. Monday, Sept. 18, duties in the court were the heaviest with six cases heard. Mark W. Wolf appeared on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. After entering a iplea of guilty he was order-to order-to to pay a fine of $200 or to serve 40 days in jail. Dan Dilsaver appeared on an assault and battery charge char-ge against Geo. Stengel7 Jr. He entered a plea of innocent and trial was set for Sept. 22. Appearing on a charge of DWI was Melvin W. Hodge. He entered a plea of guilty to the charge and was fined l$200 and 4o days in jail with the sentence suspended upon condition that he attend the problem driver's school. . Appearing on Sept. 19 was was Fred Penn, Jr., who was picked up in Provo on the request of Sheriff W. H. Bowman on a charge of fraudulently issuing a series lof checks with insufficient funds. Attorney William Benge, who was appointed to represent Penn, waived a preliminary hearing on behalf be-half of his client and Penn was ordered to appear in District Dis-trict Court on Oct. 10. Bail was set in the amount of $3,000. Larry D. Sizemore appeared appear-ed in court on Sept. 19 on a fugitive complaint issued In the circuit court of Lane County, Oregon.
